The Parable of the Gold Coins

November 14, 2005

Matthew 25:14-30 "For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Now for the first point, each servant was given their amount according to their ability, so the master already knew roughly what He could expect, so we must decipher what was the difference between the 5, 2 and 1 talent servants, and for this we can judge their differences by their actions. The 5-talent man, the most trusted servant to maintain the highest level of financial responsibility we are told, "traded" with his money, and gained 5 more. Likewise the 2-talent man was given two, and doubled his investment. And now the 1-talent man, was given one, and he buried it.

The talents or coins were relative to Divine Knowledge, as it is all too clear that the gift of Divine Mentality or the "Holy Spirit" is something that you ask for, and according to your merits, as determined with what you are considered to do with this gift in the future. A cowardly and timid man who will not be brazen enough to preach the truth will get the one coin, while the moderate tempered man who is discrete but will preach what he is illuminated into will receive double the reward, the brazen man, with what appears to be a total drive to tell the entire world, regardless of what they think or may do is the five talent man. So by today’s standards, this will be broken down.

Divine Knowledge is associated with the phrase, "ask and you shall receive" and also, "if a son asks his Father for bread, will he give him a stone?" Any racially pure child of Yahweh will receive some level of this gift just for the asking, what level you are given is totally dependant upon your own merits. By todays standard, here is the rough idea of the types of people associated with the limits of this gift.

1 Talent; the Coward.

The coward is the kind of person that upon understanding the truth of Yahweh God, knowing full well that Yashua Messiah told us to shout it out from on top of a mountain like brazen men, the same Messiah that told us not to place the light under a cover, so as to hide it’s brilliance, the coward knows this to be true. However, due to the hostility the world has against Yahweh and His word, the girly-man coward shuts his mouth and hides what he has been educated into, for fear of retaliation. The coward upon judgment is the same as a sinner; it would have been better for him to not ask for this gift so he could bury it.

2 Talents; the Average Student

The Average student was not awarded the five like others, but two, because through his actions and his willingness to spread the little that he knows, he has earned his worth. The Average Student may begin the education of a 5-talent man, or may create many 1-talent men, whatever he may earn, he was awarded 2 talents because Yahweh saw that he was willing to speak and work, but was not willing to lead the way and study his way into the 5-talent category. As this person earned his 2 talents, he will also be rewarded his 2 talents for his effort, he has been a contributor, and will receive his award.

5 Talents; the Teacher of Yahweh

The Teacher of Yahweh did not end up in this category by just listening to what others have told him, nor is it some divine gift of understanding of a higher level, he was awarded the one talent first, the first gift of Yahweh, true understanding. Then the Teacher of Yahweh surpassed the Average Student because this truth became his calling, and he studied until he knew as close to humanly possible everything that could be known, and further, the Teacher of Yahweh realizes that his life and this life’s journey is a temporary event, and that he was placed upon this earth as a messenger of Yahweh. The Teacher is on top of the mountain screaming his head off at all sides, because he knows that is his calling. The teacher is the light in a room of darkness, where the cowardly are fearful of even a spark of truth; the teacher is hated by the world, and beloved by Yahweh. The investment is doubled at a much higher level because the Average Student gets stumped in debate for lack of knowledge, and the Average Student cannot fully explain his case because by his own merits, he is limited. In this way, those that had questions that the 2-talent man could not properly answer, would have been left in a state of doubt, so they were only able to gain two more because they left a taste of doubt by their lack of evidence, The 5-talent man can gain the 3 more because he has made for himself the complete package, and is willing to use it to it’s fullest extent.

Now even Yashua Messiah told us that this message is not for everyone, so then we end up in a strange case of scripture, "Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury." Now the scriptures forbid usury, so what exactly was Yashua Messiah telling this man to do? Here is the answer, the money changer is an ally, of a man not of your own race and creed, so if the 1-talent man was too much of a coward to use his talent, he would have been better off telling his knowledge to those that can use it for their own benefit, and possibly indirectly his talent may spread as the ally uses it for his own purposes. So if this talent is the knowledge of scripture, the moneychanger is one that can use this information for their own purposes, furthering the work of truth.

Even now you are seeing this system in use, if Aryan Messianic Identity is for the Aryan, and Islam predominantly for the Arabians, although many of them are Aryan, they are descended from Ishmael, as we are from Isaac, however, we all have a common enemy and we all face the same evils of "zionism" and "jewish" communism in the guise of democracy. Through the education of the Arabians as to what the Bible truly says, as they also have similar beliefs, through proper direction, and their use of this information for their own purposes, they may awaken our people to truth for us, thus, they have taken our talent, and used it for their purposes, and indirectly for our own as well. So as all of the 1-talent people complain about the 2 and 5-talent people coercing with our allies the Arabian Mujihadeen, remember what Yashua Messiah said, when you cannot use this talent yourself, give it to those that will use it. This is also why the coward will be handing the little he had been given over to the 5-talent Teacher, after all, it is the 5-talent teachers that have invested his talent, and instead of being 5-talent teachers, they become 11-talent masters, and the coward gets to rot in hell.

This is the meaning of the parable of the talents of gold, this is how the concept of exchanging the gift applies in today’s world.
